PURPOSE

Our goal is to reward that passion by giving them a high quality delivery experience, helping our customers commemorate those precious moments in the best possible way. As a Shipping Project Manager it´s your responsibility to manage the outgoing shipping processes and to ensure a smooth and fast delivery for our clients.

Our Shipping team is on the front lines, working closely with our Commercial, Marketing, Manufacturing and Technology teams to optimise our customer journey. You will be responsible for managing our global logistics operation, control finances, improve customer experience and solve operational and business problems with analytical techniques. As a shipping process manager you are handling, and managing the shipping contracts with our suppliers. You are keeping overview on the business and processes. You ensure that Service level agreements (like delivery time) are met. You see what is needed to make the shipping process run smoothly, liaise with supplier and proactively take on tasks to ensure processes are streamlined.

You will officially work from our head office in Farringdon. For the most part, you can do your work from home, but you will be asked to make regular visits to the head office and our partner factories in North and East London. You will be joining a global team with colleagues based in different European countries who will seek to develop and grow your skills, supporting you at every step. Together, you will collaborate on key strategic projects that shape the future of our business.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cross-border transport coordination, including Customs documentation.
  • Manage relationships and negotiate contracts with our logistics partners.
  • Performance monitoring to improve Net Promoter Score.
  • Be on top of latest trends and technologies related to E-commerce delivery.
  • Project management.
  • Support planning and resource management as well as budget and benefit management.
  • Work closely with our factory teams to ensure seamless outbound flow of orders.
  • Delivery systems management.
  • Shipping support to improve customer experience.
  • Ensure financial cost control by checking if delivery company invoices are accurate.
