About the role

As a Category Manager for Photo Products you will be part of the Product Experience team. This team ensures that our customers receive a site experience that is easy and fun and a product that they love. You will work together in an ambitious team with 2 other Category managers and report to the Product Experience lead. Are you open to explore career opportunities within albelli? As Category Manager you are a strong team player as an essential part of your role is to collaborate with multiple teams from Marketing to IT to Manufacturing. You will cover many angles to optimize the product experience with the focus on the profit growth of your category.

Every day you will use your business and analytics talent, your passion for products and customers and your interest in e-commerce to deliver optimal results.

Main responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Developing a product vision and strategy and translate that into execution strategies including go to market.
  • Intelligence: Gather and analyze internal and external (competitor, customer and technology) insights to identify opportunities in the market and to inform positioning and messaging.
  • Performance management: Track, analyze and report on product performance.
  • Product Marketing: Establish Product Positioning and engage with marketing partners to implement initiatives that drive sales and increase profitability of the category across the customer journey.
  • Product Experience Development & Optimization: Identify how to provide customers with the easiest and best site experience to match their product needs. Drive innovation and expansion within your categories and lead product introductions from strategy to go-live.
  • Physical Product optimization: Collaborate with our manufacturing facility to launch new products and optimize the quality of our product portfolio.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced marketeer and an analytical and commercial talent that is passionate about customer centric product development. 

Next to that you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Marketing, Business or Economics;
  • Very solid understanding of product economics and data analyses;
  • 7+ years of commercial marketing experience in an e-commerce environment (B2C);
  • Excellent English written and verbal skills;
  • Experience in stakeholder management;
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the business, prioritize & manage assignments to meet deadlines and establish solid relationships;
  • Knowledge of online marketing is a pre-requisite;
  • Understanding of processes in the plant (production facility) is a pre-requisite.
