As our Organic Social Media specialist, you will work in the centre of Amsterdam as part of albelli’s centralised European Brand Content Marketing team, to lead our organic social media channel strategy and the many initiatives focusing on building our brand awareness and growing our community of advocates. You will be the voice for our brands and help to relay our campaigns, product and consumer passions in an engaging strategy and output on our channels.

Job Purpose

As our Organic Social Media specialist, you will develop and maintain albelli’s centralised social media strategy and presence, inline with the overall marketing strategy. Attracting and interacting with targeted communities and developing them into brand advocates.


  • Develops and oversees the implementation of integrated social media strategies, processes and roadmaps including content and advertising strategies and KPIs
  • Owns the communication calendar for all our central and local social media channels, running yearly planning to gather input from the core teams.
  • Supports our country teams in developing their social media campaigns and strategies.
  • Manages the output, boosting and reporting on all activities through our junior team. 
  • Demonstrates effective knowledge of social media innovations, technology/digital trends and customers’ target consumers, and reviews, evaluates and reports on client social media analytics and performance to continuously improve results and meet KPIs
  • Ensures the execution of social assets with exceptional quality in every aspect and internal/external communication, including supporting other team members and ensuring program KPIs are being met and exceeded
  • Leads the planning and execution of other digital/communications-based programming such as influencer marketing
  • Ability to write and brief engaging content for social media campaigns
  • Set in place and maintain the processes needed for effective community management that builds a strong culture between our fans and increases the positive sentiment of the brand


  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role
  • English native level of communication
  • Experience managing social media communities
  • Collaborative; able to build relationships and liaise company wide
  • Pro-active and hands-on

Due to COVID the majority of our work is done remotely, but we also like to put a face to the name, so you should expect to have 2-3 days a week in both the Amsterdam and the Hague offices in the future.

We are working in a hybrid environment and this role is based in our Amsterdam office, located in the centre of city next to Central Station with stunning views of the harbour, and the numerous canals running through the old city. The office is spread over five floors, with ample amenities and easy walking distance to nearby shops, cafes, and restaurants. The team here is made up of more than 45 nationalities, who work across all areas of the business with a focus on analytics, marketing, HR, and technology.

Covid19 update

For the safety of our employees and following the measures implemented due to COVID-19, we currently work differently. Our offices are closed while our production facilities are operating with proper safety and health measures. Our Recruiting process is currently entirely remote via phone and video calls. Our new hires will have a remote onboarding since the well-being of our employees is our number one priority.
