Purpose

As .NET Software Developer you are going to create innovative service-oriented solutions for delivering the best quality photo products for our B2C customers.

The team:

Our Manufacturing Software team is an agile autonomous team of developers, system engineers, QE, BA, Scrum Master and a Product Owner. The base location of the team is in our Amsterdam head office, with regular visits to our printing facility in the The Hague.

The team is responsible for the automation of our manufacturing plants in Europe, Japan and India. This manufacturing system uses optimized algorithms to deliver over 70K individual products per day at 60% gross margins.

Recently the team worked on:

Microservices, .NET Core, AWS lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, automated testing with BDD/SpecFlow, CI/CD, Python, pandas, manufacturing process simulation and optimization (NP-complete problem).

Requirements

• You have advanced skills in developing distributed back-end systems in .NET (C#);
• You have solid experience with Microsoft web technologies (ASP.NET MVC or Web API) and SQL Server/ORM frameworks;
• You are a true engineer with a sharp analytical mind, you create high-quality, simple, modular, flexible and maintainable software;
• You have good communication skills, you are smart, savvy, quick, pro-active and get things done;
• You are fluent in English.
• Front-end development skills 

Desirable experience with:

• Manufacturing automation;
• eCommerce or similar platforms;
• Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.);
• Functional programming (hobby counts);
• Continuous Delivery;
• TDD, BDD, DDD.
