Resnap, an albelli company, is our most innovative brand, which is already revolutionizing the $2 Billlion photo book market. Leveraging Artificial Intelligence, the Resnap solution identifies a customer’s best and most relevant photos, and automatically creates a beautiful photo book. We’ve cut the time it takes consumers to make a photo book from multiple hours to just a few minutes. Launched in the past three years, we now have a thriving business spanning the USA, Europe and Australia. We have generated over 10 million digital photo books and shipped hundreds of thousands of photo books worldwide.

We are now seeking a General Manager / Commercial Director to take Resnap to the next level to continue to disrupt the $2 Billion photo book market and to achieve our bold ambitions. In this role you will have end to end responsibility for the Resnap Brand and P&L. You will lead a cross functional team whose mission is to continually innovate, drive growth and customer value. While Resnap is an established brand, you will operate as an autonomous start-up, while leveraging, where applicable, the tools and infrastructure of a much larger ecommerce company. You will be responsible for a multi-million $/Euro budget.

Ideally based in Amsterdam, but open to other locations. We will consider US applicants with a possible relocation to the USA once onboarded.

Purpose

The goal of this role is to lead and drive ambitious growth of our Resnap brand globally, with a primary focus on the US, Europe and Australia. You will achieve this through your entrepreneurial leadership, vision, commercial drive, business acumen and focus on iterative testing and flawless execution. You are tech savvy and know how to leverage the combination of innovative technology and marketing. This position plays a key role in enabling our ambitious growth expectations at albelli group. The role reports into the CEO of albelli group.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieves ambitious growth targets through end-to-end responsibility of the Resnap brand and relentless commercial, technology and customer focus
  • Develops and constantly evolves the strategy based on key learnings and market evolution
  • Operationalizes the strategy, defines KPIs and targets through the Resnap team; with Customer Acquisition, Marketing Efficiency, LTV, NPS/CSAT KPIs at the core
  • Leverages key capabilities within the albelli group where relevant
  • Mentors and drives performance as well as development of the team with a start-up mindset
  • Drive, energy, urgency, accountability, deep curiosity and winning attitude are just some of the elements of the leadership mindset
  • Partners with other internal and external stakeholders where relevant: Manufacturing, Customer Care and others
  • Forecasting, budgeting and planning for Resnap
  • Develops a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and the customer needs for the markets where Resnap is operating

Requirements

  • Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of driving growth
  • 10+ years of relevant eCommerce / tech experience in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with at least 4 years in a leadership role
  • Experience across all elements of the customer value chain
  • Ideally Digital customer acquisition experience and mobile marketing are core elements of previous career, paid social media marketing is a big plus
  • Great people leader and strong transformational leadership, acting as change agent
  • Key capabilities are entrepreneurship, curiosity, agility, leadership, result orientation
  • Global mindset with international experience, experience in the US market is a big plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong soft skills and values such as empathy, listening, loyalty, respect
